One Vision Housing Association’s New Liverpool HQ

Technical Display Systems Ltd, in conjunction with the main contractor, has just installed Audio Visual presentation systems at One Vision Housing Association’s new Liverpool HQ.

The Boardroom has a dual presentation system. 2 x 52″ Wall mounted LCD Screens can be used for either laptop, DVD or TV sources.

Alternatively, a ceiling recessed projection screen can be lowered for larger screen presentations via a ceiling mounted projector.

2 x 46″ Samsung MagicInfo Digital Signage LCD Screens are located in the Restaurant with the additional facility for laptop, DVD or TV presentations.

Again, as with the Boardroom, a ceiling recessed projection screen and projector can be used for large screen presentations.

There are 7 meeting and training rooms all fitted out with 52″ LCD presentation screens, all capable of multi-media presentations from laptops, DVD or TV.

All rooms have LAN connectivity.

Technical Display had continual pre-install liaison with the OVH, the Project Manager and main contractor to ensure that each room had a neat and tidy, easy to use system.

VISTORM Client Presentation Rooms and Secure Operations Centre

Vistorm is an IT services business specialising in the information security sector. They wished to upgrade their Client Presentation Rooms and Secure Operations Centre at their Warrington HQ.

They also wished to have a Video Conference link to their Oxford and London offices. TDS worked closely with the client to design and provide specific AV and integrated data presentation facilities.

This included-

  • Designing and fitting 5x large ceiling mounted LCD alert screens for the Secure Operations Centre, using a high performance computer graphics switcher to route information from the server room.
  • Designing an Audio Visual presentation facility for various meeting rooms, with specific KVM switching via CAT 5/6 connections for thin client and other optional computer inputs
  • All meeting tables were fitted with inset ‘cable cubbies’ to enable relevant cables, KVM connections and power supply to be easily accessed
  • Supplied and fitted Video Conferencing facilities for Warrington, Oxford and London offices.

Chelmsford County Council Up-Grade their facilities

Technical Display Systems are currently supplying and installing conference and AV presentation systems for Chelmsford City Council.

The Council have completely gutted the Chamber of the previous ornate and panelled design in favour of a more modern look, to include re-configurable desking. The architects involved, however, want the AV equipment to be as inconspicuous as possible.

To this end, we are supplying 2 projectors fitted to motorised hoists that retract flush to the new plastered ceilings. These are focussed onto motorised projection screens that are concealed when not in use within the ceiling void either side of the Mayoral desks. These seating positions view a presentation by means of PC monitors positioned on each desk.

Two repeater 60″ monitors are mounted on motorised brackets flat on each side of the Chamber and automatically swivel outwards towards the public gallery as required. Monitors installed in the reception area can also view the information from the Chamber.

We are providing a 75 delegate Bosch wireless conference system, along with 3 cameras that can zoom in and focus onto whoever is speaking at the time. Chelmsford also will incorporate webcast facilities at a later date.

They also are having control of dimmable lighting and black out blinds, so we are supplying a more powerful AMX remote control system to include 2 touch panel controllers.
