Awarded the contract to fit out the new offices for Mann Island Finance, Liverpool

Denton Associates are a leader in the interior design and office fit out market.

When they were awarded the contract to fit out the new offices for Mann Island Finance, part of the Investec financial services group, they turned to Technical Display Systems to provide the Audio Visual and videoconferencing element of the project.

The new offices consisted of a large open plan area along with a boardroom and an employee ‘Pause’ area as well as a collaboration space.

Refurbishment of GE Groby, Leicestershire

Following a successful installation of a four monitor video wall at the GE Skelmersdale site, J. Tomlinson Limited approached Technical Display Ltd to assist in the design of Audio Visual systems for the refurbishment programme of the GE Groby Leicestershire site.

The project had two distinct areas that needed Audio Visual presentation facilities and both had the need for flexible solutions to utilise the space available.

Large LED Screen Installation

Technical Display Ltd, (TDS Ltd), were approached by Elysium Marketing Solutions Ltd, (EMS Ltd), to recommend, design and install a large format LED screen on to a building in West Yorkshire.

EMS Ltd are currently installing LED multimedia screens within town centers around the country, providing low cost digital media advertising for local Businesses.

After taking the original brief from the client, we invited them to ISE Amsterdam, the largest AV show in Europe, so that they could see hands on the technology that will meet with their criteria.

The chosen solution has provided EMS Ltd with a reliable, high resolution large format screen, with remote access for loading content.

The screen is the very latest in digital technology, and has turned a blank wall into a colourful and vibrant advertising / information space.

The UK’s finest residential library goes Hi-Tech

Technical Display were asked to install state of the art Audio Visual equipment in there newly refurbished conference room at St Deiniols Library.

The equipment had to meet all needs from a simple power point presentation to a full interactive meeting.

Technical Display installed the following equipment;

• Smartboard 680i 77″ Interactive Whiteboard with built in Projector
• Interactive Whiteboard Cover
• DVD Player
• Audio System
• Wooden Lectern with Built in Light
• Wooden Equipment Cabinet
• Induction Loop for the Hard of Hearing

The Kings School keep In touch with Nature

Technical Display has recently installed two wildlife cameras for The Kings School, Chester.

One camera has been mounted in the Schools pond, and the second camera has been housed within a bird box.

Images from both of the cameras are displayed on a 42″ LCD monitor, that has been installed within a main corridor.

Staff and Pupils can view the images, and watch the changes that are taking place throughout the Year.

Technical Display designed and installed a protective cover for the LCD monitor, and also linked up a designated PC and DVD player/recorder, so that other media can be displayed.

Technical Display’s prayers are answered

After successfully completing the installation of audio and large screen projection within several places of worship, Technical Display have been asked to design and install a system in to a large Church in Formby, Merseyside.

The system includes twin 2 metre wide projection screens to display large screen video and computer images. Two ceiling mounted, pan, tilt and zoom Sony cameras will display images of the congregation and presenter back to a control room, where the selection of media and control of audio will be carried out via a mixing desk and switching system.

The existing audio is to be totally replaced with a state of the art public address system, utilsing wireless microphones.

Technical display graduate with honours

Following a summer of refurbishment for The University of Leeds by Technical Display, we have completed the refurbishment of 42 rooms within a six week period, ready for the return of students in September.

The investment in technology by The University of Leeds has seen a vast improvement in interactive learning tools available to students and lecturers to enhance the learning experience for the coming semester.

Technical Display won the contract to fit out 42 rooms that were a mixture of Lecture Theaters, Training and presentation classrooms. Each of the rooms has a simple to use, room control unit, for the selection and control of the equipment, large screen data & video projection, high quality audio support, infrared hard of hearing radiator, with all of the equipment being housed within a secure, lockable racking system.
